Saturday I was at the Lowell Cemetery for the unveiling of local sculptor Jay Hungate’s work Eternal Flame at West Meadow. Founded in 1841 the Lowell Cemetery is one of the first garden cemeteries in America and is listed on the National register of Historic Places. This is the first of two pieces of public art that the Board of Trustees has commissioned. You can view more of the ceremony at my Events Page.
