This past weekend I covered the Whistler House Art Museum 200th Anniversary Gala Event held at the Whistler House and the Hellenic American School. Guest arrived just as the rains came in the area but it didn’t hamper the fun. Plenty of food, flowers, with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres starting the evening. President Sara Bogosian master of ceremonies started the speaker portion with a celebratory champagne toast by Vice President Terry O’Conner with awards presented from the City of Lowell, Congresswoman Lori Trahan’s office and State Representative Vanna Howard with a ballroom dancing presentation by Krystal Ballroom Dances and the Felix Brown Band preforming live to end the night dancing.
