I recently received a copy of Dark Cloud in Isabel Pass the poetry of Tom Sexton. My friend Paul Marion of Loom Press sent me the copy for the authors portrait I did of Tom back in 2019 for Merrimack Valley Magazine. I had met Tom before he spoke at Northern Essex Community College and we had a great time talking about our common interest in our hometown of Lowell MA. We did several different locations on the campus and you can see that blog post at this link. This would be Tom’s final book of poetry as he passed away in 2025. I have enjoyed reading these poems each day and I regret not having another chance to meet with him again.
