Back in November I did a portrait with Charlie Gargiulo in his old neighborhood in Little Canada in Lowell MA. Charlie recently wrote a book “Legends of Little Canada” about his early days in Lowell during a time of urban renewal and his memoir reflects the concerns and fears of a young boy and the loss of his friends and family. We did a series of views at Austin St. in Lowell and even though his home had been leveled many years ago we found some sites that directly related to the stories in his book. If you are looking for a gift for the holidays make sure to get a copy.
