June 7th I covered the Greater Lowell Community Foundation annual meeting. The theme of the meeting was “Equity and the Rule of Law” with guest speaker Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell. President and CEO Jay Linnehan moderated the talk. A new fund to support the LGBTQ community was announced with founders Susu Wong, Tomo360 owner and her spouse, Julie Chen, Chancellor of UMass Lowell. The GLCF foster community growth and development through funding, leadership, and collaboration to transform the lives of the individuals and organizations they serve.
