Last Saturday July 16 I spent some time in Exeter NH at the American Independence Festival on the grounds of the American Independence Museum. Exeter celebrates Independence day on the 16th as it took that long for news to travel from Philadelphia. A reading of the Declaration of Independence was preformed and the grounds featured reenactment demonstrations of the revolutionary times.
