Enjoying a day trip to Rockport MA during the July 4th weekend for a view of Motif No. 1 going for the classic New England fishing village look. Arriving early I was able to find just about every angle to view. I hadn’t been there in many years so it was a treat to see very little has changed except for the crowds. I arrived early about 9AM but by noon it was time to leave as people just kept coming and coming. Parking rates are reasonable but space was at a premium. It is an interesting story on how the shack got it’s name at this link from NewEngland.com.
