Last weekend I was biking in Lowell MA. As I finished my route I came upon a group setting up for a parade. This young lady was waiting patiently as preparations were being made to start the parade. The parade was in celebration of the Feast of St. John and I asked her permission for a few photos before she was on her way. The Feast of Saint John is one of the traditional festivals and celebrations of the Portuguese celebrated on June 24th. With her Mother looking on (and with her permission) I caught a few views. She just about glowed in her outfit.
