I have an Olympus micro 4/3rds camera converted for Infrared digital photography and occasionally I take it out for a stroll. An infrared camera detects infrared radiation which is invisible to the human eye and converts it into a visual image. Instead of recording visible light, these cameras typically capture the electromagnetic radiation given off from objects. The effect it gives for the middle of July with all the greenery in full bloom is a surreal effect of a snow scene to me. I even caught a couple of fawns strolling the area under the trees feeding and they gave me a hesitant stare but I moved on.
