Out early this morning to get in a sunrise bike ride. I did my favorite route from Newburyport and caught some views of several Great Blue Heron as they strutted along the mouth of the Merrimack River. I made my way to Plum Island and the waves caused by Hurricane Erin created quite a sight. I toured the island as the locals and the vacationing crowd awakened and had their early morning walk. I met up with a few and treated myself to a Mocha DeCaf with ByCoCo from Michelle by the Plum Island Airport. Summer ends soon but this was a good memory to savor.
