Last week I covered the ACE (American Council on Education) International Women’s Day Celebration and Awards event held at Middlesex Community College in Lowell MA.Dr. Kim Burns brought me on board to cover and document the presentation with guest speakers and an award presentation. The event featured a panel of college presidents that included Michelle Schutt, Ph.D., Nancy Niemi, Lily Hsu, and Rosemary A. Costigan PhD, RN. They talked about their leadership journeys and shared the lessons learned along the way. Lily Hsu, Antoinette (Toni) Hays, Dr. Suzanne Buglione, Mariah Silva, and Karina Fernandez Montilla, M.Ed. were honored with leadership awards for their inspiration and contributions to creating change in higher education.
