And finally the wedding. The trip to Vermont was for attending a family friends son’s wedding with just a few weeks before the Christmas holiday. The ceremony and reception took place at the Mountain Top Inn in Chittenden Vermont. The outdoor ceremony gave a panoramic view of the Green Mountain National Forest but was a bit cold. Once the ceremony wrapped up we eventually made it back inside for the reception at the barn, a quintessential rustic yet luxurious space. The food was excellent and the desert table was fortunately for me close by. There was live music and dancing which the happy couple enjoyed right to the end. I was brought to this weekend kicking and screaming but overall it was a nice getaway before Christmas.
