I had the opportunity to photograph Representative Nancy Pelosi back in June of 2014 for my client Middlesex Community College. She arrvied in Lowell as part of a bus tour promoting a women’s economic agenda, courtesy of then-Congresswoman Niki Tsongas. This was Pelosi’s When Women Succeed, America Succeeds tour. After the speeches and hand shaking we headed to MCC’s Federal Building where I had just a moment to ask her for a quick portrait in the marbled column hall. I am sure her people would have frowned on that but she graciously gave me a few moments of her time, literally 6 seconds by the time stamp on my images and I grabbed the shot. My celebrtiy portfolio would never be as good without the organization and event capabilities of the MCC staff.
