Last Saturday I spent a day at King Richard’s Faire in Carver MA. This Renaissance Fair was on my list for many years but I always seemed to be previously book. I love festivals like SteamPunk, RenFair and CosPlay events where I can photograph the various attendees with their permission in their works of art outfits. My son and his family have enjoyed it several times and knew this was something I would enjoy. I finally made the commitment to attend this year with my little granddaughter in tow. The Faire now resides at the Edaville Railroad site in Carver. The Edaville property was purchased by Lancelot Entertainment, the new owners of King Richard’s Faire and the place looks great. I enjoyed roaming around the area watching several performances on stages located throughout the complex. My favorite was the Hey Nunnie Nunnie ladies with their hilarious warped take on Catholics. The Faire continues till October 19, 2025 and I recommend buying your tickets ahead of time and get there early.
