Finally after so many weekends of trying to get out for my weekend bike ride I made it to one of my favorite rides to Plum Island. Sunrise provided a mix of gray clouds and possible rain but I was determined for a ride. I made it just before the bridge and saw the vacant lot left by the now lost Pink House. Still plenty of color to look for and I plan to come back to detail more of the beach architecture. The line was long at Mad Martha’s and I wish I had time for some French Toast there. On my way out waves of rain showers where headed in but I lucked out and made it back before they took away from my ride.
